Frequently Asked Questions

Microblading is the artistic technique of tattooing individual hair strokes with a handheld tool called a microblade. Unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists hand draw each hair to match the color and coarseness of your eyebrows. The result? Gorgeous, natural looking eyebrows.

If you like the look of a filled in brow that heals soft and powdery and will look like you filled in your brows with pencil or powder makeup, I offer machine powder or ombré brows.

You can also choose a combination brow to give you the best of both worlds.

Microblading is semi permanent and it is normal for it to fade over time. Every skin type is different but depending on the service, It will typically last from 1-3 years.  Most people like to do an annual color boost/ touch up to keep your permanent make up looking fresh.

Most clients will say there is little to no pain! It may feel a little uncomfortable. I use a topical anesthetic before the procedure to numb the area to make it as pain free and comfortable as possible!

I charge a $100 non-refundable deposit to book your appointment. You are responsible for paying the full amount of your procedure for your initial appointment and the full amount of your touch up at the time of your service.

Rescheduling: I require at least a 48 hour notice of your appointment to reschedule your appointment. When rescheduling with greater than 48 hours, your $100 deposit will go towards your rescheduled appointment date. If you need to reschedule less than 48 hours notice of your scheduled appointment, you will forfeit your original deposit and be required to send a new $100 deposit to reschedule the appointment.

Cancelling: You will not be refunded your $100 deposit if you need to cancel your appointment or if you are a no show to your scheduled appointment. If you would like to book an appointment at a later date, you will be required to send another $100 deposit. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment or you are a no show and you decide to book a new appointment in the future, you will be required to pay for 1/2 of the price of the service as a deposit.

If you are more than 15 mins late, I will not be able to accommodate your appointment. You will forfeit your old $100 deposit and will be required to pay a new $100 deposit to reschedule your appointment at a later date.

Before booking an appointment I highly encourage you to “shop” my Instagram (@microbladingcorona) and my website before and afters. Eyebrows come in many styles, shapes from feathers to bold, arches or straight. All artists are different so you want to make sure I am the best fit for you.

Permanent make up needs to be done before a client receives Botox or fillers. If a client does receive Botox/ fillers, they must wait 4 weeks after their Botox/ filler procedure.

Microblading works on all skin tones and colors. Check out our Instagram feed. If you have oily skin, large pores, Keloid disorder, we do not recommend microblading. See our full list of contraindications (meaning cannot treat).

It’s great for that! But we recommend sending us a photo of your eyebrows without makeup so I can review the area and let you know whether you’re a candidate for permanent make up.

I do not recommend permanent make up while breast feeding or pregnant.

You’ll be able to wear your new brows back to brunch! In the first 14 days, you’ll need to avoid getting them wet, working out or wearing brow makeup. It takes about 30 days to completely heal, in which time you may experience mild scabbing.

Touch ups are required. These appointments are to perfect and fine tune your new eyebrows. Any touch up after this is considered a color boost. Touch ups are scheduled after 6 weeks from initial appointment. Please refer to MY SERVICES for more details or pricing

All AFTERCARE will be discussed with the client at the end of each appointment. Keep in mind that there is a 14 day healing time where you may experience scabbing, flaking, and dry skin. During that time you will need to avoid make-up, sweating, and excessive water like swimming.
